When the first UK headlines of COVID-19 made the news, many international students left the UK, thinking that they would soon return as it was only a temporary outbreak. This was of course not the case, and university went fully online and the return to England was not possible or practical for many overseas students. At the same time, most still had their flats or student accommodations with their belongings left in the UK and had no way of moving out of their apartments because of that. For that reason, I set up a company that would offer a remote student moving out service and offered storage and shipping of the personal belongings. The service is fully bookable online and even was selected as the officially recommended service by Imperial College Halls. This venture ran under the same company WAQUA Ltd, which I had registered online and I worked with removals company to organise the logistics of my service. It was a great success and I enabled many students to organise their move out very easily from overseas, which saved them from travelling back to London or having to pay rent for an apartment which they didn’t use.
